Born 1944 in Berlin, Germany. Amateur Radio since 1969 starting as DC7CW.    DARC member / DOK D12
License at starting point only valid for 144 MHz and up. Later I received a general license including CW and shortwave operation with full power (DL7YC).
QRV now with large tropo arrays and high power on all bands from 23m Band to 76 GHz, but mostly active in contests only from 23cm - 1.2cm Tropo, also 24 GHz, 10 GHz rainscatter and 47 and 76 GHz EME or portabel.
QRV EME 432 MHz first time 1979 (DL7YCA) until 1988 and again from NEW home QTH (DL7YC) since 2001. WAC 432 MHz.

 in 2024 WORLD FIRST 47 GHz EME CW QSO with RW3BP (529 / 539 )

76GHz (4mm) 2.4m dish / RX: 2.5dB NF: 9.8dB Sunnoise  /1.15 dB Moonnoise average (depending on new/full moon and/or perigee or apogee) TX : 5Watt @ feed (76.032 MHz)  With stepper motor movable TX / RX at focal point
QRV with 1.3m offset-dish @ 8420 MHz for deep space objects and spacecraft reception.
